From 1996 to 2004 with my PSX and PS2 I've spent a lot of my times playing many famous series like Metal Gear, Tomb Raider, Crash, Tekken, PES, Ridge Racer and Gran Turismo. My first PC game was NFS:U and since this I'm a NFS fan and player. Anyway my gaming carreer started in NFS:U2 as a URL's driver in "Against All Authority Clan" best known as "A3". In that I found a lot of friends who taught me Circuits. So, in the next episode, NFS:MW, I reached my best level and collected some great achievements. attax'crovex: I play Counter-Strike like many players, because I can't play NFS all the day, and I played World of Warcraft last year, but it's too expensive and after a long time very boring. I start playing NFS since the first time, my cousine played it, so I often play it too. I started to play online in 2004 when I got Internet. K3idNG: I played CS and C&C. And other games too, but not online... QuiDxKing: I played WarCraft for fun before starting to play NFS series. And I started to play NFS in MW, when Pro100VidoNG teached me how do drive ROEDxMadHatter: My first computer game was... hard to remember... I think it was Wolfenstein on a 386 computer NFS2SE was the first NFS I played, it was in 1998, after that one I played all of them. I stuck to NFS, even if UG2 and MW were not my favourites, because in NFS you have the largest number of players... and more players there are, the toughest the competition. And besides, WCG hosted NFS too.

I started with the very first NFS, altough I started my online career with NFS-Underground 1. QuiDxRazer: I've played a lot of games! When was the time of PC revolution (i.e. 386sx) I played the old fps called Doom. I started to play Need for Speed with NFS2. Pro100VidoNG: I started playing NFS with Underground 1. zroql: I'm playing mostly FPS games (SoF2, COD2 and Q3), I started Carbon because my brother told me that was great. QuiDxCaesarTFT: My best achievement is the 3rd place overall at "USSR NFSMW Cup" gaining 5 Gold Medal, 5 Silver Medal and 1 Bronze Medal in 15 tourneys. Recently I took 1st place at ESL.it Logitech Autumn Cup 06. Moreover I won some local LANs. attax'crovex: In NFS:MW I won a lot of matches and tourneys but the most important moment was the WCG National Finals Germany 2006. It was great to be the best NFS Player in Germany but I trained hard. In the ESL I was in every Circuit Ladder on the #1 Place and I played an unbelievable season. K3idNG: Hmm, I won the WCG slot in Switzerland without losing of a map with NFSU2 and NFSMW. Then the second Place in SEC in Hannover and the last LAN events in Switzerland. QuiDxKing: I haven't got good results in NFS yet, I'm playing NFS only for one year. I remember my first NFS tournament, it was called LG NEW YEAR CUP, where I reached 4th place and met some good NFS players in Ukraine, such as USSRxNeonion and USSRxInj3ktor. ROEDxMadHatter: My achivements in short: mouz.n1ce: Of course the victory on WCG KZ 2006, and all matches on WCG Italy Grand Final. Specially I remember for the match against Steffan in 1/8 Finals. These were great matches. USSRxOden: In summer 2006 I finished top 8 (5-8th places) in NFS Most Wanted WCG Ukrainian Preliminaries. The most unforgettable achievement is my first tournament, and victory on it. It was NFS Underground 2 WCG Donetsk Regional Preliminaries. bioXarRain: In NFS:U1 I was #1 in the german ESL 1on1 and 2on2 circuit ladders. With NFS Most Wanted I achieved #1 in the German 1on1 ladder as well, although I was only #7 in the international ladder which contains whole Europe. Now in NFS Carbon I'm #1 in the German Canyon Ladder for about 3 weeks now and #1 in the 2on2 circuit ladder for about 3 weeks now, too. I will join the 1on1 circuit ladder soon. This weekend I was at the Dimension6-LAN here in Bremen where I placed #1 in the ESWC-Cup which means I have a slot for the national Finals in May 2007. QuiDxRazer: I started playing seriously Need for Speed series with Most Wanted episode. I arrived 3rd at World Cyber Games 2006 Italy NFS:MW Qualification, and I won the Logitech Benq Gaming Tour in Italy of NFS: Carbon. The WCG were a spectacular event, especially the Grand Final where I met some of the best players of NFS series, like VGSpeedPro or MrRASER. I hope I will qualify also for next WCG . mouz.Salvadore: I finished 9th place in WCG 2006 Grand Final in Monza. mouz.SeWo: I took part at the WCG 2005 in Singapore and won the NGL season 2005. excello'starving: In Trackmania Nations I've won some LAN events here in Portugal and I was 3rd at ESWC 2006 Portuguese finals. QuiDxTitoniks: My preferred NFS was Hot Pursuit 2 but I started to play seriously only with NFS:Most Wanted, 'cause before I didn't have any high-speed connection to race online, and at the beginning of 2006 I got to know my actual clanmates, with them I improved my skill in NFS world. Pro100VidoNG: I started playing seriously 1 year ago. Won Asus cup, Cyber Winter, and LG cup. also I'm TMN champion of Ukraine. zroql: Simply I don't have. QuiDxCaesarTFT: I often visit ClanBase site, so when I saw this Cup I thought I was dreaming! It's the first online tournament with pretty good prize-money. Moreover it's a good chance to race against the best NFS players so we've a lot of fun and we can learn a lot from opponents. attax'crovex: CS4f1, the Admin wrote me in IRC that I had to check-in the Cup, so I heard about The Fast and the Furious Cup. K3idNG: Many players joined the Cup and I didn't have any practice in this game. I thought I can't play online. I had problem with the game and the savegames. EA made it very badly 
QuiDxKing: I heard about it from QuiDxCaesarTFT, my teammate. I was very happy, because it was first cup in Carbon and I hope it's not last cup on ClanBase with Carbon ROEDxMadHatter: I heard about it when I got an e-mail telling me about it. And I joined in last hour of signups. When I saw the players who joined I knew it would be a very tough competition. Almost in every group I knew at least a person. Especialy most of the players who went to playoffs have a lot of experience gained in LANs or different tournaments. Myself and Driver had the unluck to play against very good racers in 1st round, so it is not a shame we lost. Driver lost with 3-2 to mouz|nice, who is a very good and consistent player, that was an honorable loss. Myself I lost to 4-1, but lost a race by 0.05 seconds and made a lot of mistakes in another. The only thing I don't like in this NFS is Corvette. No handling, but very high acceleration. So driving style is ping-pong. Wallrides all the way. Myself and Driver we play very bad with it, but if we were to advance any further we need to learn to use it. Virtually our games started for 2-0 (silk and main are Corvette tracks). It is a very good thing that the system is double elimination tournament, so it is wasn't the end for us. We'll see... mouz.n1ce: I heard about The Fast and the Furious Cup from my team. My first opinion was: good idea and real practice before SEC and WCG 2007. Now I think that it's a very good cup with very cool judge. :) USSRxOden: I heard about The Fast and the Furious Cup from the letter which was send to USSR Team mailbox. My first impression was joy, because in Carbon we haven磘 LAN mode, i.e. no LAN tournaments. I hope it will not be in such a way for long. bioXarRain: I heard about it from other German participants. First I was surprised that ClanBase is making a cup where you can win money. I think the cup is generally well organized. Altough it was very hard to reach the playoffs. In my opinion the player placed 2nd in the group stage should have been in playoffs, too. QuiDxRazer: I heard about Fast and Furious Cup watching ClanBase.com; my first impression was that the best players of NFS would never consider this cup, instead here the best player of ever playing Tokyo Drift Cup! mouz.Salvadore: A teammate informed me about the cup. I think the cup is very cool, but in my first 3 races I only got defs. But I know it will be better, and I抦 sure my enemies will come. mouz.SeWo: My teammates told me about the cup. excello'starving: My team captain VGSpeedPro told me about this cup. I liked the way it was run, so I decided to register. Well, I think the cup is running prety well, You (CS4f1) are working hard, and until now I cant see any problems! :) QuiDxTitoniks: As being member of one of the best Italian NFS clan (maybe the best), I follow the news about online competitions. I had a good impression about The Fast and the Furious Cup and now, however I lost a game, I think that my first impression was right. Pro100VidoNG: I heard on NFS forum, and impressions are very good. Can't say this now about Carbon. zroql: I heard about it from my brother who signed up and I wanted to defeat him. I think this cup is very nice and there should be much more like this, even if there were much noshowsups when it started. QuiDxCaesarTFT: Only three words... 1st Da Best!!! The Fast and the Furious mixing cool actors (Vin Diesel and Paul Walker), amazing cars (omg Toretto's Charger!!!) and great story. In Tokyo Drift yeah drifts are cool, cars too but main actor and story made me sick. Anyway I like so much the trilogy and it remains one of my favourite series. attax'crovex: Yes, because its different than the other parts. The cars are sliding next to the wall and that's really incredible. K3idNG: I like The Fast and the Furious serie. I love the cars and the labels. It's very important for us. In the movies they present the best and famous labels of tuning scene, and this is very good. In Tokyo Drift the Japan tuning is very good. For me that's the best and the nicest tuning. Very hot, very cool and Asian Girls wow! Incredible! Love ya QuiDxKing: Yeah...I saw all The Fast and the Furious episodes. But I prefer the second one, because there was my favorite car - Nissan SkyLine ROEDxMadHatter: The Fast and Furious series is a very good trilogy. Mostly I like the cars in it. I think 1st one that featured Vin Diesel was the best one. mouz.n1ce: Of course. But the first The Fast and the Furious is the best movie for me from that trilogy. USSRxOden: I like the trilogy and the movie too, but the first part is my favorite. bioXarRain: I like all F&F movies but the first one is still my favourite QuiDxRazer: I think Fast and Furious is the best of the three episodes, Toretto is the best!! In fact when I saw him at the end of Tokyo Drift, I jumped over seat at cinema lol! QuiDxTitoniks: Yes. I have the original dvds of trilogy and sometime watch it again. I like it. First and second movies give me good sensations for the adrenaline during the races. The last one is slightly different due to the story, but the last 10 minutes are so fantastic, that the entire movie gains a place in the trilogy. Pro100VidoNG: Yes, its a cool movie. But it's a bit unreal. For sure movie with Vin Diesel was the best! :) zroql: Tokyo drift is a bit cheap. After a few minutes you know already how it'll finish. But however I like it, I've just finished to watch it on my 42inch new TV! QuiDxCaesarTFT: Too Easy!!! I've noticed in all groups, except some like A-J-\, there was one mid-hight skilled player and three low-skilled or ghost players. So, the hardest part of the cup started with playoff games! attax'crovex: No, it wasn't hard because I didn't race, I only got default wins. I don't train a lot at the moment, because of the school and my girlfriend. K3idNG: Hmm, in my Group I never played. My opponents weren't here for the time when races started. It hasn't been difficult to qualify, but now it's hard in playoffs. I didn't have enough time to play NFS in Online mode! I think I don't have good chances. My priorities are the school and friends, thats important for me. I hope I can play many races. QuiDxKing: In the group phase I played only one game with a racer from France, it was not so hard, I race with him on my favorite track - Dover Street and I beat him easily. ROEDxMadHatter: Returning to The Fast and the Furious Cup, in groups stage was not so hard, it was barely the warmup. I lapped my last opponent in 4th lap. The cup basically started with playoffs. There were more balanced groups, but I think the admin did a very good work when setting up the groups and took care that we don't have group with 2-3 good players. mouz.n1ce: About group matches I think: it was very easy, but in the first time I was afraid of I'm not ready for a cup, but now I can say: I'm skilled and ready to get the final victory too! USSRxOden: As none of my rivals came to match, it was very easy to qualify That's why I don't know the other players skill level. :) bioXarRain: Sadly I only had 1 race in my group because 2 Players didn't appear. The last race against Alan was very hard. As you might know he won WCG 2006 in Most Wanted and I didn't expect to beat him! :) The skill level is very high and all players in the playoffs are very good. QuiDxRazer: The group wasn't so difficult, 2 players did not present for the match, so defwins. Beating MakayX wasn't so hard, so qualifying was easy. mouz.Salvadore: I drove my first race in the playoffs, because before I got only default wins before. Now the skill level is very high, I think. mouz.SeWo: It was no problem to win the group but the skill level in the playoff is much higher and I think we will see very close races. excello'starving: Well, I've only played one game, against Chocozai. The other two were default wins. Chocozai was a good opponent, but yes, it was easy to qualify. QuiDxTitoniks: No one showed up before the playoffs. I know most of the players that reached the playoffs, the skill level is higher than I exepected for a new game as Carbon. Pro100VidoNG: It wasn't very hard to go playoffs but I experienced some problems with my PC during the game with main opponent in group stage. About 1st round of playoffs I dont want to speak. I'm very dissapointed with this game. zroql: Hmm, I didn't have any problems to qualify because of noshows, but I know the level is too high for me in playoffs! QuiDxCaesarTFT: At the moment I don't play so much, just 1-2 hours per day and in the weekend or before a match about 3-4 hours. When I play I need 100% concentration, silent atmosphere and to hear only the sound of my car's engine. Beyond the eSports I do also real sports. I play soccer and sometimes 5on5 soccer. attax'crovex: I train 3 hours a day if i have enough time. I play soccer because always sitting in front of the computer is not good. K3idNG: I know players here in the Cup play every day many hours, maybe 4-8 hours per day. That's crazy and too much for me. For me that's impossible. The school, learning for exams, I don't have time for training. Maybe I play 3 hours in a week. QuiDxKing: I train not so much, 2 hours per day, but in the day of game I try to train very much Sure, I mix real sport and eSports, I like competitions at try to take part on many of them. ROEDxMadHatter: Having a job too, and to be a pro-gamer takes a lot of training time, but work pays my bills. So I only play an average of 2 hours per day, and yes, u need some very good mental condition in a match. For example yesterday I almost beated my best time on 2 tracks. It is very diferent the way I drive in a practice match and the way I race in an official one. In practice for example I always go at the limit and sometime over it, and I crash. Knowing the limit of the car is all that NFS is about. In a match time only concern is to drive safely and only push when is necessary. For example if my opponent is like 1 seconds ahead in last lap I push, if I have more rounds left, I drive safe. mouz.n1ce: I trained around 8-10 hours in a day, but now I'm training only 4-5 hours, because I'm busy because of working. I'm not mixing real sport and eSports, because I have no time for that because work. USSRxOden: I'm practicing 2 hours per day. I don't need a good condition for concentrating. I am not mixing real sports and eSports. bioXarRain: I train about 2-3 hours a day. Only if you know the tracks and if you can drive top laptimes 45 minutes after you wake up you know, the hours you spent in training are worth it QuiDxRazer: eSports are exactly like the sports! I love netgaming and I think that "progaming" has to be more considered in the world. If you wanna gain good results on eSports you have to practice a lot, and sure you need a good concentration during the game, expecially if you play online, because of lag. mouz.Salvadore: Now I train nothing for the game, because I`m very busy with school. I only train 1-2 hours before I have an important race. But when school becomes easier I will train more. mouz.SeWo: In average 1 to 2 hours a day. excello'starving: Actually I'm on vacations, so, I can train 3-4 hours a day. I practice Viet Vo Dao (Martial Arts) 3 times a week, and I have Physical Education at school 2 times a week. I like to play some football and ride my bycicle, so, I can say that I mix real sports and eSports QuiDxTitoniks: Due to the job, I have not more than one or two hours a day for training. For this reason I can't improve my skill in all the maps. Pro100VidoNG: I dont train a lot, I'm waiting for WCG rules. And if I will like them, I will play them. zroql: In truth I don't play really NFS:C, only when I have a match or from time to time when I'm bored. QuiDxCaesarTFT: Sadly, my opponent Rain did not show up? attax'crovex: I don't train a lot, only 2-3 hours and my opponent was really good. So I could win the last track and finally I won 3:2 against him. K3idNG: The first race in the Cup was very bad. I won the first and second map. But after this I lost 2 maps... I raced very badly and made many mistakes. I said, without training that's normal. QuiDxKing: It was very tense struggle. Our first track was Beachfront, there I was somewhat nervous, I made too much mistakes, MadHatter beat me very easy. Then we played Dover, on first lap MadHatter made a little mistake and I became leader, but on the second lap I made a mistake, and finally on the last lap I tried to make all that I could, and I made a good lap (and MadHatter have mistake), in this game I won only with 0.05 sec. After this race we had a break, because too much nerves after a very hard race. Our next track was Savannah Street, here Madhatter made many mistkaes and I won. After this we played Main Street, on this track Madhatter had much unluck with Corvette. So, the victory was already mine, but we played the Silk Road too for fun. MadHatter is very good player, thanks him for unforgettable races. ROEDxMadHatter: About my match with King: I knew he is a very good player, and realy tried to do my best. So, let's start with the beginning. We did some warmup laps before each race. On Beachfront he beat me. That was no problem, because I never try to go fast in warmups, but he did a very good time and I was thinking that if he drives the same I will lose. Game started, took the lead from the end of 1st lap and never lost it again. Time was very close to my personal record on that match, so it was 1-0 for me. On the warmup of Dover Stret the same happened, game started and after the 1st lap I was in 2nd place at 0.3 secs, after 2nd lap I had a 0.3s lead, after 3rd lap I increased the leadto 0.8s, and in last lap he did a Very crazy time, the one I call the kamikaze style of driving. I mean all or nothing. And was all for him, he cought up with me and managed to beat me with 0.05 seconds. I couldn't belive it, I went in a 5 mins brake to recover from that. In the warmup of Savannah Street I almost beat my lap record, so I thought that if I drive normally I will beat him. We started the race, but I did a huge mistake. After that I pushed over the limit and made some more, so he won. And the next maps were Corvette maps, so he won those too. mouz.n1ce: Yeah, in the first match in play-off against ROEDriver I made a lot of mistakes, because before that match I had a contest in Most Wanted, so I could not train for Carbon. I trained just 10-15 minutes before that game. But I won, and it's good. :) USSRxOden: My first opponent, mouz|SeWo was definitely faster. But I will train harder for the next match against bioXarRain! bioXarRain: Sadly I was tired after another race, so I did not show up. QuiDxRazer: I played really bad... I hadn't time to practice, so bad times on 3 of 5 tracks... I hope I will do it better on the loser bracket. mouz.Salvadore: It wasn't hard to win the race. I didn抰 drive fast, but I didn't make big mistakes. Next race I will risk more, because enemies get better and better. mouz.SeWo: My opponent crashed early in the race, so I drove safely till the end of the race. excello'starving: Toma was a good opponent, he demonstrated nice fairplay and friendship. I was pretty confident but I made lots of mistakes... I hit to many things, etc. My hands were so cold I couldn't drive regularly :) QuiDxTitoniks: After the second map I was a little bit angry with my opponent, I don't like to use the pursuitbreaker. In fact I won the 3rd and 4th maps, there aren't pursuitbreakers. The last map, Savannah was my fault. I don't know it. Pro100VidoNG: I don't want to speak about this. But it was very dissapointing.... zroql: So AllStar is a good racer and I knew that I was going to lose well before the race started. There were so many mistakes that I couldn't count them QuiDxCaesarTFT: Off course, my main goal is always to win! I've good chances to reach podium but from now all matches will be close battles where self-control and a lot of luckiness are needed for winning. It's too hard to forecast atm, anyway I bet on n1ce and on my mate King. attax'crovex: I hope I can come under the top 3 because I have on Friday holidays, so I will train a lot. I think mouz|n1ce will win, because he trains a lot and drives very good times. K3idNG: Hmm, very difficult question. I don't know. New players arrived, and it's a new game. Everything is possible. I bet for mouz|n1ce or QuiD|Caesar to win this cup. QuiDxTitoniks: Main goal....mmmmm.... the understanding that with a hard training I can reach the level of the best players. For sure the final winner will be....... I don't figure him. Pro100VidoNG: I see that n1ce is racing good, also Caesar and King too. Maybe some German players... There are a lot of cool racers here! zroql: It is hard to say, there're many high skilled players so I don't really know. QuiDxCaesarTFT: NFS is the best arcade racing game, but EA should learn a lot from TrackMania's multiplayer and should implement a good anticheat engine. And where's LAN mode in Carbon? If nobody writes a server-emulator, how can NFS:C get support in LAN events like ECG and WCG? For these and for other problems NFS community got bored, and so few elite players are now playing NFS serie. But little community = little support, so I hope NFS will be improved by EA and will get more support in the future! attax'crovex: Yes, there are more tourneys for NFS:C than last year. I think every year NFS will be more popular than a year before, because it's a very cool game with cars, tuning and racing and all people like this. K3idNG: I will try to find the time for training and I wait for new rules in leagues like ESL. Also I'm waiting for the SEC rules too. Then I will see. The lan mode is missing, that's a big problem... QuiDxKing: After this cup I'll have a big rest before WCG. In my country NFS doesn't have good support, not so much players and tournaments :\ ROEDxMadHatter: NFS doesn't have enough support because of the reduced interest about multiplayer from EA. They focused especially on single, and the fact that carbon doesn't have a LAN mode, replay options and a server-client support says everything... mouz.n1ce: After the cup I will train for SEC and WCG of course. USSRxOden: After the cup I'll try to organize NFS : Carbon tournaments in my city. At the end of winter I'll try to take part in ASUS Winter Cup 2007 in Moscow and I will start preparing for WCG. NFS will be on WCG (no doubt). What about support? Hem! EA wasn't able to make even a LAN mode. What support are we talking about? bioXarRain: After the cup I will concentrate on ESL and other cups. The future of NFS stands in the stars. As we know there is no LAN-mode ingame right now, that is one of the biggest mistakes EA made ever! I wish they would make a LAN-mode, a replay-mode and a spectator-mode for the next NFS because then the game would be alot more interesting. QuiDxRazer: After the cup I will try to go to World Cyber Games Europe, and next to WCG. I think NFS series doesn't have enough support, in fact the Tokyo Drift Cup is the first important online cup, I think in the future will be more cups like that. mouz.Salvadore: I don抰 know. An eSports game without a LAN mode is unacceptible. excello'starving: Well, I don't really like Carbon... it has lots of bugs, and it isn't an user-friendly game. Online mode sux hard, where's the LAN mode? Pursuit breakers off? Because of this and a lot more, it doesn't and it won't get enough support, I think. QuiDxTitoniks: The future of NFS depends only to EA Games. In my opinion they don't make a good job with Carbon. They only work around the date of game release, no anticheat, continuous disconnection from the server and so on... Pro100VidoNG: The game gets what it deserves, now I understand this. There is not cybersport ballance like in CS and Q3 for example. There are some random places that are not good for playing this game on pro level. And biggest mistake of EA is : no LAN mode! zroql: Only that I know is that I won't go to sign up for next NFS cup hmmm maybe if I get some skill, but now I must train a lot. QuiDxCaesarTFT: I'm Audi R8 Lover! Perfect mix of good handling and good engine for clean driving style. Unfortunately Corvette Z06 is better than Audi in some short and fast tracks for its amazing acceleration and top speed. My favourite maps are Dover Street and Savannah Street. attax'crovex: My favourite car is the Corvette, but the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution 9 is cool too, but it's too slow. Silk Road is one of my favourite maps, but I like a lot of other maps too. K3idNG: I don't have a favourite car and map. I don't know all maps and cars, yet. I like R32,350Z (like Tokyo Drift), Skyline, Evo and all the classic cars. QuiDxKing: My favorite car is Audi LeMans Quattro, and track....hmm I like all tracks ROEDxMadHatter: I like Audi, with that you can drive without wallrides. With Corvette that's impossible. On tracks, like beachfront for example you don't have chance to wallride. As my favourite map? I think dover fits more on my driving style, that's high speed tracks. Another very nice track is Kempton Docks. University Way is good too. On Main Street there are like wallrides in 37 secs laps. Without wallrides, so for example with Audi you can do only 38-39's, that's far from Corvette laps! mouz.n1ce: Dover Street, Audi R8 LeMans Quattro and Mitsubishi Evolution IX too of course.
